Bury Market is one of our most popular day trips, and we are heading there four times this November, once on each of our four routes. There is a date to suit most people.
What Is There at Bury Market?
Bury Market is widely regarded as one of the best traditional markets in the country. There are hundreds of indoor and outdoor stalls selling fresh local produce, meats and cheeses, as well as fashion, homeware and plenty of bargains.
Make time for the food halls too. Bury black pudding is a local legend, and there are plenty of cafés and food stalls for when you want a sit down and a brew.

- Wednesday 4 November - Route 3 (Micklefield, Sherburn in Elmet, South Milford, Monk Fryston, Hambleton, Thorpe Willoughby, Brayton and Selby)
- Friday 6 November - Route 4 (Aberford, Swillington, Woodlesford, Rothwell, Robin Hood, Outwood and Wakefield)
- Friday 13 November - Route 2 (Cross Gates, Seacroft, Alwoodley, Adel, Holt Park, Cookridge, Tinshill and Horsforth)
- Friday 20 November - Route 1 (Garforth, Kippax, Great Preston, Allerton Bywater, Castleford and Pontefract)
On every date you get 5 hours at the destination before the coach heads home. Please arrive at your pick-up point 10 minutes before departure. Pick-up times for each stop are shown when you book, and we will contact you directly if anything changes.
